Breadkin is made by one person, so you'll be talking to them directly. Expect a reply within a few days.
Email ryan.j.tish@gmail.com with what happened and what you expected instead. If something looks wrong on screen, a screenshot saves a round trip.
Please include your handle — it's on your starter's page under its name — so the right account can be found.
Every bake in the feed has a … menu, and every profile has one in the top corner. Both offer Report and Block.
Reports are looked at within 24 hours, and anything that breaks the rules below is removed. You can also email ryan.j.tish@gmail.com directly — please include the handle and roughly when you saw it.
Blocking is immediate and needs nobody's approval. You and the person you blocked stop seeing each other entirely: neither of you sees the other's posts, appears in the other's search results, or can follow the other. Undo it under Home → Profile → Blocked accounts.
What isn't allowed: harassment, hate speech, sexual content, threats or violence, spam, and pretending to be someone else. Breadkin is for bread.
Home → Profile → Delete account. It's immediate and permanent: your account, starters, feedings, bakes, photos, follows and cosmetics all go, and Apple is told to unlink the app from your Apple ID.
One thing survives, and it's worth knowing first. If somebody linked their starter to yours, theirs stays — it's theirs. What it loses is the record of where it came from.
Check Settings → Notifications → Breadkin on your phone. Inside the app, reminders are under Care. Nothing is sent on days your starter doesn't need feeding, or while it's snoozed — so a quiet day may be correct rather than broken.
Care → Reminders. Every day, or once a week on a day you pick. The streak follows whichever you choose, so a weekly starter isn't marked as missed on the six days in between.
That's usually the honest answer rather than a fault — Breadkin is small, and it only finds people who have added their own phone number. You can also search by handle, or send someone an invite.
Home → Profile. Both can be changed whenever you like, and renaming a starter never affects its place in the family tree.
